Bull fight

after a couple of weeks they shed the white Lugo and get their black panther suit.






 




Isle au Haut and Mount Desert in the distance.
It must be a good feeling when they learn that they are not just beach potatoes but are super hydrodynamic lump fish slayers.





This bunch of Purple sandpipers were feeding along the North facing shore, they are quite tame.
